Marfa Stance prioritizes ethical practices, sourcing surplus materials, and collaborating with Ecologi to plant trees for each order. The brand offers a thoughtful alternative to fast fashion.

About the Shopify Project

Marfa Stance’s ecommerce experience was developed on Shopify Plus through a fully custom Shopify theme tailored to the brand’s premium visual identity and unique UX requirements. As part of the project, MM Shopy Devs managed the migration from a headless architecture to Shopify, creating a more scalable and manageable ecommerce infrastructure while maintaining the brand’s highly customised experience.

MM Shopy Devs worked closely with Marfa Stance’s UX and creative teams throughout the design and development process, ensuring every functionality and interaction was accurately translated into Shopify. Extensive QA, accessibility checks, and cross browser testing were carried out to deliver a refined and high performing ecommerce experience across all devices.

For this project, Marfa Stance used MM Shopy Devs’ Shopify Custom Theme Development and Shopify Migration services.

The Result

The migration from a headless architecture back to Shopify Plus successfully simplified Marfa Stance’s internal operations, allowing the team to work more efficiently while making the business significantly more agile and scalable for future expansion.

The project was delivered fully on schedule according to the agreed timeline, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal operational disruption during the migration process.

Following the migration, the store achieved a +4.23% increase in Average Order Value and a +6.95% improvement in returning customer rate, reflecting stronger customer loyalty and a more effective ecommerce experience overall.

The new Shopify 2.0 architecture provided a more flexible and maintainable ecosystem, improving both operational efficiency internally and the customer experience externally.
