Store Audit
A Shopify store audit that tells you exactly what's costing you sales, and what to fix first. Clear findings, prioritised by impact, with no obligation to hire us for the work.

The two audits
Two audits, depending on what you need
Both are done by people. Every point comes from someone who has built and fixed stores like yours, looking at yours, which is worth saying plainly now that the market is filling up with generated reports that read well and tell you nothing.
- Basic
Basic audit
An expert review of the store, without your analytics. It answers one question: what should we fix first?
We walk the main funnel the way a customer does:
- Home page and header
- Collection pages
- Product pages
- Cart
and flag what an experienced eye immediately sees as a must-fix or a serious friction point. It is deliberately fast and cheap, because its job is to stop you guessing about priorities before you spend anything on a build.
- Best if you know something is wrong but not what
- Or if you have a budget and want to spend it on the right thing

- Full
Full audit
Everything above, plus your data, and a much wider scope. Six areas:
- CRO and data analysis. Where people actually drop, what that costs, and the opportunities you are not taking.
- UX analysis. Does the store follow one line a customer can follow, is it understandable without effort, and does it convey your brand rather than a theme's.
- Storytelling. Where the brand currently lands, and how the store could tell that story better.
- Upsell and average order value. Where ticket value is being left behind, and what would realistically raise it.
- Current UX and UI standards. Product cards, quick add, AI sizing, the patterns that have become expectations rather than nice-to-haves.
- Mobile experience. Assessed as its own thing, not as a narrower version of desktop, because that is where most of your traffic is and most of the losses.
- Technology. What would genuinely improve the store at the level you are actually operating at: AR and virtual fit tools, AI-driven search and discovery, advanced upsell and bundling engines, and the rest. Recommended against your stage rather than as a list of what exists, because most of these are wasted on a store that is not ready for them and transformative on one that is.

Best if you are trading at volume and the question is not what to fix but what to fix first, and what it is worth.
The deliverable
What you actually receive
- Basic
From the basic audit
A minimum of 5 actionable points. Not observations. Things you can hand to a developer, or to us, and have done. Five is the floor rather than the target — if we cannot find five things worth your attention, your store is in better shape than you thought, and we will tell you that too.
- Full
From the full audit
Everything we find. The full audit is discovery rather than a checklist, and capping the output at a figure would mean deciding in advance how much is wrong with your store. Some come back with a dozen points, some with sixty — what we report is what the work turns up.
Both, in the same form
-
Explained visually
Annotated screenshots of your store showing the problem, not a paragraph describing it. Where a fix needs showing rather than describing, we usually mock it in Figma so you can see the proposed version next to the current one.
-
Compared against competitors
On the most urgent points we show how brands you compete with handle the same thing, because "this is confusing" lands differently next to a store where it is not.
-
Prioritised by impact
Ordered by what will move revenue, not by what is easiest to write up.
No pressure
What happens next is up to you
The audit is genuinely standalone. Take the report and have your own team do the work, hand it to another agency, or ask us to implement it. There's no obligation either way, and the report is yours regardless.
Who it's for
Who this is for
Stores with traffic that isn't converting. Brands about to invest in a redesign who want evidence first. Teams who suspect something's wrong but can't name it. Anyone who has inherited a store and needs to know what they've got.
FAQs
If you know something is wrong but not what, start with the basic audit. If you are trading at volume and need to know what to fix first and what it is worth, take the full one. We will tell you honestly if the cheaper one is enough.
For the basic audit, no. It is deliberately an expert read of the store itself. The full audit uses your data, so we would need read access to analytics and Search Console.
No. Both audits are done by people who build stores for a living. AI is useful for plenty of things and it is not useful for telling you which of your problems is costing you the most money, because that judgement comes from having fixed it before.
A structured review of your store covering UX, technical health, speed, tracking and merchandising, which identifies what's blocking conversions and ranks the fixes by impact.
A prioritised findings report with annotated screenshots, Figma mockups where a fix is better shown than described, competitor comparisons on the urgent points, and a walkthrough call. The basic audit guarantees at least five actionable points; the full audit reports everything the discovery turns up, with no cap.
No. The report is yours to use however you want.
The audit is a one-off diagnosis. CRO is the ongoing work of testing and implementing improvements.
Shopify CROYes. Most audits are of stores built by someone else.
We cover SEO readiness: structure, metadata and indexation. We don't offer SEO as a service in-house, and we'll refer you to a trusted specialist if you need a full SEO audit.
