What is Rewind?
Rewind Backups protects a Shopify store by backing up its products, themes, collections, customer data and metafields automatically: in real time, daily or on demand. When a mistake, an app error or an import issue changes the store, you can restore the whole store or individual items with one click, including entire collections at once. The Protection Suite plan adds 24/7 monitoring of store and third-party app downtime, automated QA testing and alerts for bulk product changes.
Our Feedback
Rewind is one of the few options out there that protect a store against accidents. One of the most common scenarios is a bulk product update that goes wrong: during the upload, product images get deleted along with other data. It happens really easily, and it is more common on large stores than you may think. We have seen it with at least four clients, in different situations, over the last three years.
Unfortunately, none of those clients had a solution like Rewind, and they really wished they had. When it happened, especially right before a Black Friday, they had to spend an entire night fixing the issue.
