About the company

Vertex was established in 1916 by Claude Lyons, a London native born in 1885. Entering the watch industry at just 17, Lyons was intelligent and resourceful, swiftly earning a stellar reputation. In 1906, with a £1000 loan from his father-in-law, he founded Dreadnaught Watches, demonstrating his business acumen by repaying the loan within a single year.

Our Work
