About

Better blocking mats, born from a trip to Bali

KnitIQ, founded in 2015 by a former London researcher, was inspired by a journey to Bali and a meeting with a knitter named Amber. Born from a need for better blocking mats, the brand offers solutions for knitters, crocheters and lacework enthusiasts, with feedback from its community shaping the products.

The challenge

One store, cleanly split across three regions

With customers across the UK, EU and USA, the existing store needed to become a proper multi-store framework — each region correctly redirected, findable in search, and kept in sync without manual duplication of work.

Process

HOW WE BUILT IT

  • Multi-store
  1. Multi-Store Duplication

Duplicated the existing store into a framework catering to UK, EU and USA markets.

  2. IP Redirection & Prompts

IP-based store redirection, plus pop-up prompts guiding customers to the right regional store.

  3. SEO & Store Management

Dynamic SEO href tags, and full export, cloning and configuration handled for each distinct store.

I have worked with Marco from MMShopyDevs for a number of years now and will continue to do so as he always delivers. Most recently he has built custom functionality and implemented a multi-store set up for the UK, EU and US markets. Would recommend.
